The SG Standard '61 features a high-quality mahogany body with period-correct body scarfing and a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish for rich resonance and comfortable feel. To go with its righteous horned body, this SG has a super-comfortable slim taper neck profile, and said neck is home to a beautiful bound rosewood fretboard lined with 22 medium jumbo frets.

This particular SG Standard '61 comes equipped with a Sideways Vibrola tailpiece, which adds another yet layer of charm to its classic aesthetic. With its stylish, simple engraving, the vibrato cover provides an elegant counterpoint to the SG's muscular aesthetic. It's also a remarkably touch-sensitive, expressive vibrato system perfect for subtle pitch manipulation.
