The classic "Workhorse" materials include a specially selected Adirondack spruce top (Red Spruce) and selected premium mahogany for the back and sides, of course in solid construction. The multi-layer binding on the top and the single-layer binding on the back are deliberately kept discreet, the smooth vintage-look finish and the vintage mechanics underline the 50s vintage look of the guitar.

Adirondack spruce (also known as Red Spruce) is considered the best tonewood for a guitar top. A feature also takes the impressive sound to an even higher level. Adirondack spruce, which acts like a booster due to its higher density but lower weight and makes the tone more direct, wider and more voluminous. This makes this instrument from the Custom Shop a marvel not only in terms of appearance but also in terms of sound.
