Our Gibson Hummingbird Early 60's Golden Era Adirondack VOS from the Gibson Custom Shop is a legend among guitars. The Gibson Hummingbird is known for its clear transparency, powerful assertiveness and its characteristic sound! The historic Hummingbird was the first square-shoulder dreadnought guitar in the Gibson range in 1960 and has been one of the most popular and best-selling acoustic guitars from Gibson ever since.

Its balanced sound, which reproduces the individual strings concisely, precisely and clearly and yet delivers an absolutely solid bass foundation, has made the Hummingbird a classic among acoustic guitars. As it was back then, it is still made by hand in the American factory in Bozeman with great attention to detail.
