The Flying V embodies rock guitar, and the Gibson Custom Flying V Custom delivers that classic tone and feel along with premium Custom Shop appointments. Gibson has taken the iconic Explorer platform and given it a distinctive look, dressed with an ebony fretboard.

This particular version was custom ordered at Gibson Custom Shop as a M2M order an it features a stunning Silverburst finish and a set of 496R / 500T Humbuckers. The tone is powerfull, extremely focused, with a roaring lower end. The ceramic magnets deliver all the power that an active pickup would bring, without being as "cold".
