Fender Limited Edition American Professional Telecaster Rosewood

The Fender Professional Tele sets the bar for Fender’s earliest solid-body design. It's got the classic look and distinctly twangy sound that’s defined countless records since the ‘50s. For the Surf Green FSR, Fender have combined Tim Shaw-designed V-mod single coils with a Rosewood neck – a truly rare, standout instrument.

An Alder body provides a classic balanced tone with a slight midrange emphasis. This provides a brilliant tonal blank canvas to sculpt your own sound with, particularly well-complemented by the V-mod single coil pickups.

Make no mistake – the Deep C Rosewood neck is the headline feature here. It’s not often you see an all-Rosewood neck – a truly luxurious appointment on Fender’s part. This wood is lauded for its tonal warmth and emphasised attack, giving the Alder sound a real fiery edge.

The V-mod pickups have each been voiced for their position in the guitar rather than the same pickup put into each position. V-Mod pickups are a combination of Alnico magnet types, calibrated for an optimal tonal response. They can do vintage twang and sizzling modern spank without breaking a sweat.

The hardware strikes the perfect balance between modern tone machine and old-school class. The 3-saddle bridge ensures that the tonewoods are able to sing just like the Teles of old, while the tuners are refined and precise – a real workhorse.
