This Fender Custom 50's Stratocaster Quilted Maple Top NOS Masterbult David Brown is signed by Andy Hicks, one of the most promising names of the new Masterbuilder generation. His work blends a meticulous, modern approach with deep Fender tradition—no surprise his builds are becoming increasingly sought after.

This particular Stratocaster is crafted from absolutely stunning tonewoods: an ultra-lightweight select ash body, a flamed AAAAA maple top, and a 5A Birdseye maple neck. Even unplugged, it vibrates with remarkable liveliness—while in the hands, it feels like a feather.

The neck has a bold personality, offering tons of sustain and bite. It features a Soft “V” profile inspired by the Eric Clapton Signature model, combined with a 22-fret Narrow Tall (6105) fingerboard and a 9.5"–12" compound radius—an ideal balance between vintage flavor and modern playability.

Electronics include a modern Stratocaster wiring and a set of Fender Custom Josefina Campos Hand-Wound Fat '50s Stratocaster Single Coils. The tone is warm, full, and articulate—perfectly suited for clean and overdriven tones alike.
